Industrialization CJU - Loading system for pickup in North America
The loading and unloading of vehicles and trailers is often an enormous effort for private individuals as well as for businesses. For example, motorcyclists must either purchase a trailer designed for this purpose to transport their motorcycle or place the vehicle with enormous effort and time-consuming safety measures on the loading ramp of the car, small truck or trailer.
In order to make loading and unloading easier, the idea of a universally applicable, fully automated loading platform, the Cargo Jack Unit - hereinafter referred to as CJU - was born. In 2021, the path to industrialization of this product innovation was started with the founding of CJP Cargo Jack Projects GmbH - hereafter referred to as CJP. With the CJU, the company has developed a functional unit that can be used for fast and safe loading and unloading on pickups, vans, trailers, etc. Various adapters help to ensure that many different things, e.g. ATVs, motorcycles or similar heavy loads with a total weight of 500 kg (standard) can be safely mounted on the respective vehicle within a very short time.
The function and process of the CJU is legally protected by several patents in Germany, the USA and Canada and these may only be used by the CJP.
The market entry is to take place in the USA, as the market potential is significantly higher than in Europe. Pickups are extremely popular in the USA and have for years recorded annual new registrations of around 2.7 million vehicles. In contrast, around 158,000 new registrations per year are recorded in Europe. A successfully conducted market survey confirms this business model.
