Two formats. One shared vision. A unique day brimming with ideas, technologies, and future perspectives: In 2026, the UNLEASH Startup Convention and KnowledgeMove, two of Hanover's most important innovation platforms, will join forces under one roof for the first time. While UNLEASH brings the energy, creativity, and dynamism of the startup scene to the stage, KnowledgeMove connects science, business, and practice to form a powerful network for technology transfer and innovation. Together, these two events create a space where knowledge translates into action – and ideas into a real future.
Look forward to inspiring keynotes , exciting panels, pitch sessions, best practices, reverse pitches, networking , and practical insights into topics such as:
How can good leadership succeed in times of skilled labor shortage, pressure to change, and rising employee expectations? A central answer to this is: attitude.
On Wednesday, September 9, 2026, the cooperation partners of the Oldenburg Skilled Labor Initiative (FIO) invite you from 4 p.m. to the 12th Oldenburg Skilled Labor Forum at the Oldenburg Technology and Start-up Center (TGO). Under the title "Leadership Makes Better – Your Attitude Decides!" everything will revolve around the question of what difference good leadership really makes today.

Renewable raw materials are playing an increasingly important role in the sustainable design of the construction industry. In our one-hour Future (Snack), we will illuminate the importance of agricultural fibers for the construction trade and their contribution to sustainable building in the central Lower Saxony future region.
Look forward to two exciting practical reports on the renewable raw materials straw and hemp. Benedikt Kaesberg from Baustroh GmbH will show with concrete examples how straw bales can be successfully used as insulation material in construction. Afterwards, Michael Kappel (Kappel GbR, district of Verden) will report from practice on his experiences with the cultivation, marketing, and application of hemp.
The event offers valuable insights along the entire value chain and is aimed at players from agriculture, crafts, and planning who want to inform themselves about innovative and sustainable building materials.

Are you a student, graduate, or career starter in the technical-scientific field? Then use the Summer School to gain in-depth knowledge of the entire hydrogen cycle – from generation through transport and storage to application.
This year, the focus will also be on hydrogen derivatives such as ammonia, which will play an important role as energy carriers in the global energy system in the future.
Three good reasons to participate:
Expand your knowledge: Experts from science and business will convey central aspects of hydrogen and derivatives in the diverse week – from generation to application.
Make contacts: Talk to experts from research and practice and get to know a promising field of topics during a varied supporting program.
Advance your career: Use the practical preparation for your career: Many former participants now work on relevant future issues in research and industry.

Digitalization in Practice: XR Applications for Companies
Many companies are grappling with the question of which digital technologies are actually relevant for their own operations. It's less about short-term trends and more about concrete applications: Where can processes be supported, knowledge be made more accessible, or employees be relieved of burdens?
The XR Innovation Day on September 15, 2026, from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the InnovationsCentrum Osnabrück (ICO) offers the opportunity to engage with these questions in a practical way. The day is jointly organized by the WFO, the WIGOS, and the XR CAMPUS from Niedersachsen.next Digitalagentur.
The focus will be on three thematic areas:
1. AI and XR - supported by Mobile-Etage GmbH
2. Digital Twins - supported by Aratall GmbH
3. XR for Maintenance and Remote Services - supported by Bitnamic GmbH
