Agile methods today affect all companies that develop software themselves or outsource software development. This training will first introduce different agile methods and discuss the associated mindsets.

At the beginning, various agile methods are presented. Particular attention is paid to the fact that successful agile working requires a different, potentially unfamiliar, approach within the company.

The following topics form the basis of the training:

• Which companies are suitable for agile methods?

• Introduction and advantages and disadvantages of Scrum and Kanban

• Effects and possible combinations of different agile methods.

• Practical experience in the introduction of agile methods using the example of four companies in Bremen and Hamburg

• When do agile methods fail?

8 training hours are planned to teach the basics.

Building on the fundamentals, concrete scenarios will be developed based on the participants' wishes and examples. A further eight training hours are planned to impart this concrete, advanced knowledge.

If required, Agile coaching can be provided within the company following the training.
