MPSlabsMPSlabs is a specialized business unit of ESQlabs GmbH and develops digital twins for microphysiological systems, organ-on-chip models, and other human in vitro systems. Our goal is to translate experimental laboratory data so that it can be better utilized for drug development: from local cell and chip signals to human-relevant predictions of pharmacokinetics, exposure, efficacy, and toxicity risks. MPSlabs combines mechanistic PBPK and biophysical models with selected AI/ML methods without sacrificing the traceability of the results.
ATLAS is the central software application from MPSlabs. Via ATLAS, users can configure studies, integrate chip, drug, and measurement data, run digital twins, and translate results into a clear biological and pharmaceutical context. The software supports, among other things, the translation of liver-chip data into human PK predictions, the assessment of DILI risks, the simulation of on-chip kinetics, and the optimization of experimental study designs. Thus, ATLAS turns complex in vitro data into a structured basis for faster, more human-relevant development decisions.
