Urban YieldUrban Yield develops and rents turnkey indoor farming facilities – from LED lighting to climate technology and sensors. Instead of high initial investments, our customers pay a monthly rent and receive consumables and consulting from a single source ("Indoor-Growing as a Service").
The facilities are modular and grow with the customer's needs. The technology is industry-neutral and suitable for vegetables, herbs, and microgreens as well as specialty crops. As anchor customers, we have won a farming association under the KCanG, which secures planable, recurring revenues from the start of operations. Subsequently, further locations as well as pilot projects in gastronomy, trade, and research will follow.
In the long term, AI-supported control is intended to optimize climate, light, and irrigation based on facility data.
Our team combines experience from industrial series production and automation, commercial controlling, and grow technology.
