Fachstelle für WohnberatungThe NIEDERSACHSENBÜRO supports municipalities, the housing industry, service providers, initiatives, and private individuals in developing advisory offers and projects. The goal is to enable older people to live independently, autonomously, and socially integrated in old age for as long as possible.
The NIEDERSACHSENBÜRO supports and advises
* on the establishment and further development of voluntary and full-time housing advisory offers as well as the implementation of barrier-free construction projects
* on the initiation of new housing forms such as communal housing projects and new housing-care forms in the neighborhood and on the countryside as well as binding neighborly relationships
* on the promotion of self-help potential and civic engagement in housing advisory services and in the initiated projects
The NIEDERSACHSENBÜRO makes information materials available, designs and organizes events and lectures, offers a wide range of further training courses, and holds the annual Lower Saxony Professional Conference on Housing in Old Age.
