Aeon Robotics GmbHAeon Robotics, a spin-off of TU Braunschweig, enables robots to learn grasping movements directly from humans for the first time. The "handeffector" robot has a robotic hand modeled on a human and can detect gripping forces via a built-in sense of force and imitate them using AI. The gripping movements are learned from humans by demonstration. Among other things, the robot will be used in the food industry to sort and package food.

Customer Problem
Until now, robot programming in pick and place, cleaning and maintenance applications has had to be created manually for each task. Therefore, logistical tasks with constantly changing or sensitive products or service tasks with changing locations or sensitive utensils can only be poorly solved with robot systems up to now.
Technology Description
The HandEffector system is a robot system modeled on the human gripper, which for the first time enables intuitive teaching of the entire movement and gripping process for pick and place applications. The mobile AeonDroid system builds on this and focuses on service applications.
USP
The intuitive gripper and control concept can be operated without programming knowledge. It allows quick and precise teaching of gripping tasks and sequences for applications that previously could not be automated.
