In the project, a self-generated CEACAM5-specific nanobody is used for the targeted functionalization of the Pacuna VLP delivery platform. The VLPs are loaded with RNA and validated for specific binding, cellular uptake, and functional RNA delivery in CEACAM5-positive cells. The goal is the proof of concept for Pacuna's modular, nanobody-controlled VLP delivery technology.
