Workshop: Sorglos zum Finanzamt – Buchführung leicht gemachton Friday, November 20, 2026, from 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM (theory) as well as Saturday and Sunday, November 21st and 22nd, 2026, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM (practice) Most startups, small businesses, freelancers, and even those self-employed on a part-time basis use simplified bookkeeping. This event aims to enable interested participants to prepare their own simplified bookkeeping and, consequently, their income statement. Theoretical part (1 day – on November 20, 2026) Legal basis of accounting Profit determination methods Principles of proper accounting Dealing with the tax office Principle of simple bookkeeping Cash register / Business account Documentation / Invoice Content Operating income / Operating expenses Depreciation / Investment allowance and special depreciation Income and expenditure statement (with reference to the official form) Income tax trade tax Value Added Tax / VAT Return Small business regulation Practical part (2 days – 21.11. and 22.11.2026) Using the business transactions of a fictitious company, participants have the opportunity to practice and learn how to maintain a cash book, separate records, a goods received register, fixed asset cards, and prepare monthly financial statements, including the respective preliminary VAT returns, over a three-month period. This includes working with receipts, invoices, and internal processes. Based on this three-month accounting period, participants then prepare the annual financial statements, the profit and loss statement, Schedule G for the income tax return, the trade tax return, and the annual VAT return.
