Niedersachsen.nextThe Lower Saxony Innovation Center is an essential element of Lower Saxony's economic development. Our goal is to support the Lower Saxony economy in the development of innovations and thus create and secure jobs. We are the independent strategy and technology consulting arm of the Lower Saxony state government and set up industry-specific and cross-industry business development networks to provide impetus to business, science and politics so as to develop and disseminate future-oriented key technologies in Lower Saxony. We thus optimize Lower Saxony's technology transfer and support Lower Saxony companies in the implementation and development of their technological and social innovation projects.

Smart Country Convention 2026DThe Smart Country Convention (SCCON) is the leading event for the digital state and public services. From October 13 to 15, 2026, administration, politics, business, and science will meet in Berlin to discuss digital solutions. Daten bewegen Kommunen #01: On-Demand-Verkehr für Ihre RegionData-driven transport planning: Meeting real mobility needs in rural areas with flexible on-demand transport services On-demand public transport services, or services integrated with public transport, can make local public transport more attractive, efficient, and future-proof. This is especially true in rural areas. In this webinar , we will show you how to create, expand, and improve such services . We will also discuss the role of a reliable data foundation in service optimization , how commercially available software solutions can support this process , and how this can lead to savings across the entire system . This is illustrated using two municipal case studies: The Lütti project from the Osnabrück district shows how to successfully implement on-demand transport . The Sprinti project in the Hanover region, on the other hand, demonstrates how an existing service can be expanded and optimized to further improve mobility for local residents. The start of a new series This webinar marks the launch of "Data Moves Municipalities"—a new digital event series from Niedersachsen.next that showcases municipal best practices in the field of mobility and makes them available to other municipalities. Instead of setting up their own pilot projects, the webinars will present proven solutions in a concise, two-stage format, allowing participants to explore their potential for adaptation to new projects or optimization of existing ones. 20-jähriges Jubiläum der LINGARethinking Aging and Driving Social InnovationFor 20 years, the Lower Saxony Initiative for Intergenerational Everyday Life (LINGA) has been building thematic bridges and driving social innovations for the older generation with a focus on Universal Design and digitalization – a reason for us to look back and think ahead. We cordially invite you to celebrate with us and discover new topics and trends. As a state initiative, we promote "Social Innovations for Generations in Everyday Life" and raise awareness for a sustainable demographic strategy as a cross-departmental, interdisciplinary ongoing task. LINGA is funded by the Lower Saxony Ministry of Social Affairs, Labour, Health and Equality and also cooperates in various projects and events with the Lower Saxony Ministry of Economic Affairs, Transport and Construction. The cross-departmental work of the state initiative is also optimized by Niedersachsen.next GmbH as the project sponsor, bringing LINGA closer to the state's strategic planning and innovation policy. The transfer of knowledge and innovative solutions through cross-sectoral cooperation is one of LINGA's strengths! At an anniversary event, we want to offer our network and project partners as well as political and municipal representatives an opportunity to learn more about us and to network.
