Innovationsquartier Oldenburg GmbHThe Innovation Quarter Oldenburg (IQON) is a unique nationwide alliance of several research institutions with the goal of accelerating the transfer of knowledge from research to industry. To this end, new concepts of collaboration (co-innovation) are developed and implemented. With over 500 scientists, we are working on innovations in various fields (transport, production, health, society, AI, etc.). IQON's shareholders are the Carl von Ossietzky University of Oldenburg, the DLR – German Aerospace Center (DLR), the German Research Center for Artificial Intelligence (DFKI), and the computer science institute OFFIS (OFFIS). IQON offers interested companies a one-stop shop for topics such as sustainable production, effective energy management, and the use of trustworthy artificial intelligence in companies, in transport, and for society and health. IQON supports and accompanies companies in establishing their own innovation management, identifying potential, and prototypically implementing innovative solutions.
