werra-meissner.DIGITALIn the course of the digitalisation process advancing in Germany, it is becoming increasingly difficult for rural regions to keep up with developments in urban areas. Digital infrastructure, digital offers and services are already elementary location factors for citizens, skilled workers, science and companies. Districts that fail to prepare themselves for the future are in danger of being left behind. The Werra-Meißner district is striving to proactively counteract this development and to become a digital rural region at an early stage.
