My name is Wiebke Krohn. I am an employer consultant for human resources development and social innovation and one of three nationwide advice centers for the ESF Social Innovation Directive.
Social innovations are innovations that improve human interaction in many areas: How people work, organize their leisure time, shop, live or how they are mobile. Social innovations take account of the changing needs of society and promote the success of social change. The state of Lower Saxony has therefore imitated the ESF Social Innovation guideline, which supports socially innovative projects in the areas of the changing world of work and services of general interest. Funding of 70 to 80% is available for a maximum of 3 years for projects with a maximum volume of 750,000 euros. Various ideas from social start-ups have already been supported in recent years as part of the funding guideline.
At my stand, I offer information on funding opportunities through the Social Innovation Directive and clarify with you whether your business case can be funded by the program. I will also be happy to put you in touch with potential contacts who can help you and provide information about the services of the employers' association.

We, Delia and Sina would like to introduce you to the interdisciplinary, student LINGA weeks and show you the social & economic opportunities of demographic change: Social innovations for generations in everyday life . We raise awareness of our society of long life, because innovative products and services enable older people to live independently at home for longer. We think participation, inclusion and innovation together and organize direct exchange with the older target group and various specialist areas. To this end, we organize annual cross-university LINGA weeks under the motto "Young researchers for the elderly". Design for all ensures that we do not develop stigmatizing "senior products", but offer more service and comfort for ALL generations - this increases the sales market for start-ups, we offer a new, positive view of age(ing)!
At our stand, we will provide information about the conditions for participating in the student LINGA weeks and take a look at your socially innovative start-up projects through "generation-friendly" glasses. If you feel like it, you can also take a journey into the future with our ERNA age simulation suit and feel for yourself why it would be important to develop "A world for all ages" in view of the coming baby boomer generation.

Qualify, network, promote - the Startup Port bundles the start-up support services of ten universities and research institutions from the Hamburg metropolitan region. Its services are aimed at students and researchers interested in founding a company, young start-ups, as well as established companies and start-up consultancies.
The Startup Port sees itself as a network that creates new impulses and, above all, needs-oriented support for knowledge-based entrepreneurship through the interaction of science, business and politics. The Startup Port Community stands for the close exchange between its members and the cooperative development of formats and projects that meet current and future challenges in the support of knowledge-based start-ups.
Dynamic regional economic development requires trust, shared knowledge and joint access to resources for all stakeholders. The collaborations that arise in the network across specialist, organizational and federal state boundaries bring partners together, complement specialist knowledge and thus actively promote the region's existing growth potential. More than 10,000 researchers and around 85,000 students in the network contribute to the metropolitan region's reputation for innovation and research.
We are happy to invite you to network and provide information about our services, in particular we share insights from our Holistic Impact Incubator (HOLII).
