NO Loneliness Center

Loneliness is a growing problem in our society that is affecting more and more people - over 30% of people feel isolated. Despite the constant communication and apparent closeness to others in our networked world, many people experience feelings of loneliness. A Center against Loneliness offers support through targeted activities that promote social interaction. Social counseling is also offered to help identify the causes of loneliness and find individual solutions. The center offers a space where people can make new connections together and strengthen their social relationships.

Problem

Loneliness is a growing problem in our society. Over 30% of people feel isolated.

Unfortunately, poor diet, little exercise and isolation can lead to mental illnesses such as depression.

Loneliness is similar to smoking 15 cigarettes a day!

Objective and Approach

A No Loneliness Center could be an innovative facility that specializes in the prevention and management of loneliness. It combines physical activities, social experiences and personal development with professional health advice. Here is a proposal of how such a center could be designed:

Results and Values

This center is only on paper at the moment, but it would be extremely helpful to society and give many lonely people a new opportunity to make new friends and social contacts.

I would therefore hope that perhaps companies or institutes could tackle the problem together with me.
