Light therapy helped him the most – but regular visits to the doctor's office were time-consuming and difficult to integrate into his daily routine. Medications with severe side effects were not an option for him. This need for a more flexible form of therapy gave rise to a vision in 2019: light therapy that adapts to life, not the other way around. Together with Maria, Till, Jens, and Janina, Jan founded Skinuvita as a spin-off from the University of Bremen. Their goal? Light therapy that works flexibly from home – without the stress of appointments, but with medical supervision. Today, exactly that is possible.
