The Innovation Award offers a wonderful opportunity to publicly demonstrate that Lower Saxony is producing outstanding projects that deliver real added value. All nominees will receive an image film, and the winners will also receive prize money of €20,000.

What is the Innovation Award Lower Saxony about?The Innovation Award is presented by the Niedersachsen.next Innovation Network. Projects can be submitted in the categories "Key Technologies" (Award for outstanding technological innovations and further developments) and "Knowledge and Technology Transfer" (Award for outstanding forms of cooperation between scientific and non-scientific actors).

Who can apply?

Category Key TechnologiesWe are looking for products/processes/methods that make a significant contribution to the resource-saving, digital, and sustainable transformation. Companies and consortia from all industries whose products are already market-ready can participate.

Category Knowledge and Technology TransferWe are looking for projects that have succeeded in transferring findings from science into practice in an exemplary manner. Consortia from science and application partners can participate.

What is there to win?The three most exciting applications in each category will be nominated, publicly presented, and awarded a high-quality image film. The winners in each category will also receive prize money of €20,000.
