At the Institute for Intermodal Transport and Logistics Systems (ITL), we research methods and technologies for model-based, AI-supported planning, control, and automation of mobility and logistics systems. Our goal is to translate theoretically well-founded approaches into practice-oriented, validated solutions.

In cooperation with industry, authorities, and research partners, we develop digital tools and control concepts for networked traffic and goods flows – from simulation to application.
